Ember recently tried her first whole apple. 

It didn't take long to realized the peeling doesn't taste as yummy as the fruit inside...

bite by bite she peeled the apple all by herself and mommy has a big mess to clean up.

Playing in the Snow

Daddy, Mommy and Ember bundled up
in our winter attire so Ember could finally
experience playing in the snow.

It's a little hard moving around when you're all bundled up,
so Ember just rolled around the foot of snow on our deck.

Going in for a little taste.
We have the perfect little hill in the back yard for sliding.

Putting up the tree

We finally got around to putting up our christmas tree this past weekend. Ember was very interesting in helping daddy. We let her hand him the ornaments so that he could place them on the tree... that was until Ember decided to throw the round ornament like a ball, breaking one.

OOH.. Winnie the Pooh,

Little Bug Party

Today was Ember's first birthday party. She will be turning ONE on Nov. 23.

Finger Food

Applesauce isn't exactly finger food, but that did not stop Ember. We started out with spoon, but she grabbed it a couple times dumping the applesauce on her highchair and in her hair... so I let Ember try it herself. She threw the spoon on the floor and ate it with her fingers.

Our Little Pumpkin

Check out this smile, Ember went from 3 teeth to 6
in a couple days. She now has 2 teeth on top and 4 on bottom.
